Telephones.com cannot ship to a P.O. Box or to an address that is not registered with your credit card provider as an "Alternate Ship To Address" If you are shipping to an address other than your billing address, we require that the alternate address be registered with your credit card company. You can do this by calling the toll free number on the back of your credit card. Our fraud prevention policies are meant to protect YOU from fraudulent use of your own card and to minimize order processing delays.

On line orders placed before 12 noon PST Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) will normally ship that same day. Orders placed after 12 noon PST Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) will normally ship the following business day.

HOW TO ORDER

Ordering from Telephones.com couldn't be easier. Simply order on-line, by phone, by email, or by fax. On line orders are accepted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year on our secure on line site! Orders placed after normal business hours are processed the following business day. Telephones.com ships via UPS Ground (3-7 business days), UPS Blue (2 business days) and UPS Red (overnight). Federal Express (FedEx) options are also available. Shipping fees will be displayed at checkout. Most items shipped GROUND within the continental USA include free ground shipping. All shopping cart shipping options are available ONLY within the continental USA. Orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and Canada may pay additional shipping charges since ground shipping is not an option to those locations. Orders to Canada must pay the appropriate shipping charges, along with all required taxes and duties.

ON LINE SHOPPING CART ORDERS

This is the easiest and most secure way to place your order. Orders placed on line include FREE ground shipping with no minimum. Once you have placed your order you will receive an email confirmation. Status and tracking information on your order is provided the following business day. This site only uses secure online ordering, which is available 365 days a year. If you do not want to order online, you can call us and we will be happy to take your order over the phone.

PHONE ORDERS

We'll be happy to take your order over the phone as well. For telephone orders, Customer Services reps are available to take your call Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM ET. Free ground shipping is included for orders placed over the phone for orders over $500.00. Orders under 500.00 will pay the cost of the shipping depending on the method of shipment. If your order is under 500.00 and you would like free ground shipping, you will need to place your order on line.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

The systems we carry are manufactured for use within the USA and Canada. They are rated at 110 Volts AC and designed to work on local US and Canadian teleco lines. These systems will work in many other countries, but it would be your responsibility to determine the legal and electrical requirements for your particular country. Other than the commercial invoice we include, you are responsible for all other required forms, duties and taxes required by your country to pass this equipment. We ship to most countries via FedEx as the freight forwarder. It is your responsibility for all items to pass customs. Unfortunately, we will not refund shipping charges for returned items that were unable to clear customs for any reason, or items refused to be picked up at customs. We will refund the cost of equipment on items returned, less any restock fee involved, including any shipping, custom and storage fees incurred. We do not ship to many countries. If you are outside the US, please check with us first. Due to custom problems and regulations beyond our control with some countries, we reserve the right to refuse orders to certain countries.

PAYMENT

Most major credit cards are accepted - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All credit cards orders require a verifiable valid billing address. Telephones.com does not accept credit cards with international billing addresses since these cannot be verified. Canadian Credit Cards are normally OK, as long as the billing and ship to address can be verified.

PRODUCTS

All products are 100% factory new with full factory warranty. WWW.TELEPHONES.COM does not stock, buy or sell used or refurbished products.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Unless otherwise noted, all items featured on the WWW.TELEPHONES.COM website are warehoused locally by us for prompt and immediate delivery. We are seldom out of stock on any item, but if we are, it will be noted on the shopping cart. If an item is not in stock, we will advise you when it will be in stock so you can purchase it at that time.

UPS AND FEDEX SHIPPING CHARGES

Our shopping cart allows you to choose the shipping methods of your choice. It is rare, but please keep in mind that FedEx and UPS (as well as most major carriers) do not reimburse shipping charges for weather related delays. If you paid for special shipping and the package is late in arriving due to our error, we will be more than happy to reimburse you for those shipping charges. Shipping times are based on "business days," and do not include weekends and holidays.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Free email technical support on equipment purchased by technicians certified by the manufacturers we represent is provided throughout the business day during regular business hours. Technical support inquiries are usually answered within 24 hours or less. Every system we sell comes complete with all the system manuals and programming software required for you or your installer to properly install and program that system. If you need technical support we are happy to help you, but we do require that you or your installer thoroughly read all the provided installation and programming manuals first, install the provided programming software, and attempt to program the equipment according to the system manuals before contacting support. Don't have the time to do your own installation or programming? Let us know, and we will be happy to recommend installers in your area.

Need to repair an item?

Need to send in an item to repair during the warranty period? Telephones.com works with many different manufacturers. Many manufacturers have different policies when it comes to exchanges or repairs during the warranty period. Even though an item that failed under normal use during the warranty period will be replaced or repaired at no cost to you according to the manufacturers terms and conditions, most manufacturers require that exchanges or repairs during that warranty period be handled directly through the dealer that the equipment was purchased from. Equipment under warranty that failed under normal use be repaired or replaced under that manufacturers warranty terms as long as the equipment has failed under normal use and was not user damaged. Most warranty repairs are free, but please keep in mind that the cost to ship the equipment to the manufacturer and back is not. Shipping costs apply even if the item sent to repair is not replaced or repaired. If you have an item that needs to be repaired during the warranty period, Telephones.com, if needed, will be happy to handle the repair transaction for you or even expedite the assignment of the RMA (return authorization) number from the manufacturer. All equipment sold by Telephones.com includes the manufacturers warranty information, or is provided through the manufacturers web site. If unsure of a specific manufacturers repair or exchange policy, please contact that particular manufacturer or Telephones.com for additional information prior to purchase. Items that are user damaged, IE, did not fail under normal use or were damaged by means not covered under the specified warranty terms can usually be repaired by the manufacturer at an additional cost depending on the damage. An example of an item not meeting a particular manufacturer's warranty terms can be a control unit that suffered damage to the power supply from excessive ambient cold or heat, a power surge entering through the AC or CO lines on a non surge protected control unit, or damage due to water or moisture entering the equipment. Only the manufacturer can determine if an item does not meet their specified warranty terms once their technician has inspected the defective item. If an item does not meet a manufacturers warranty terms due to damage not covered under the warranty terms, the end user will be advised via the email address on record of the required costs involved to repair that item. The end user will be provided the option to have that item repaired or replaced by that same manufacturer at a specified cost. The end user will also have the option to have that item returned un-repaired by simply paying the return shipping charges only. Unclaimed items that do not meet a manufacturers warranty repair terms and require repair at a cost along with return shipping charges will be held up to 30 days before being discarded.

Phone Systems are basically PC based systems with a proprietary operating system. Just like a PC, the software version of the phone system has to be upgraded periodically during the life of the equipment. Since software versions are constantly being upgraded by the manufacturer to the latest version, even a newly purchased phone system may require an upgrade, which is not unusual. Most upgrades and system manuals are provided as a free download from the manufacturer, or by requesting it from Telephones.com. In cases where an upgrade requires a newer version system manual, those can usually be provided free of charge as well. It is the responsibility of the user to make sure regular upgrades are performed in order to maintain an up to date version.

All installation and programming procedures as recommended by the manufacturer must be followed according to the instructions provided in the system manuals and documentation. If an item being returned was defective upon arrival, that item will be replaced by the manufacturer. If an item arrives defective due to damage caused during shipping or other reasons, it will be classified as an OBF (Our of Box Failure). OBF's MUST be reported within 14 days, otherwise the manufacturer will consider the item to have arrived in working condition and became damaged after the item was installed and/or programmed. Any item found to be defective within 14 days of receipt and considered to be an OBF that was not user damaged during this time may be exchanged through Telephones.com or the manufacturer for that same new item. An item that arrived in perfect working condition that was damaged after installation and/or programming, even within 14 days of receipt, cannot be considered an OBF. After 14 days an item cannot be considered an OBF and the regular manufacturers warranty will take effect. Telephones.com, it's affiliates, or the equipment manufacturer, shall not be held liable for any down time due to equipment exchanges or repair. We recommend that you immediately check all equipment as soon as it arrives in case any exchanges need to be made. All the major manufacturers that we partner with will immediately exchanging any equipment that may have arrived damaged and is classified as an OBF, but you should make such claims within 14 days. After 14 days of receipt an item cannot be considered an OBF, and the regular Terms and Conditions from that manufacturers warranty policy will apply.

Need to return an item?

It is the buyers responsibility to make sure that the products purchased are the correct ones for their particular application. All equipment is new, factory tested by the manufacturer in good working order and warranted by the manufacturer according to their terms and conditions. Warranty is limited to the conditions set by that particular manufacturer and is limited to equipment failure under normal use on a properly connected, surge protected control unit.

The item you are returning may not be defective. It is common to assume that an item is defective when the cause is simply that the item has not been properly installed or properly programmed. We recommend that you first contact our Technical Support to get help with any installation or programming inquiries you may have prior to requesting an RMA (Return Authorization) number.

No item will be accepted without an RMA number from Telephones.com, or from the manufacturer. If you need to make a return, you should request an RMA immediately after receiving your equipment. You can request an RMA number for any item purchased from Telephones.com by simply requesting it using our on line support form. For verification purposes, always include the serial number(s) of the item(s) being returned. Equipment returned must arrive within 14 days of the equipment being received. Telephones.com will not be responsible for items lost by your shipping carrier. For your own protection, we highly recommend you ship all equipment being returned with enough insurance to cover the value of the items. Please include the RMA number, the name the equipment was purchased under, the date of purchase, the invoice number, and a detailed description of the reason on all returns.

Telephones.com would rather not process a return and we're sure you never had any intentions of making one. For this reason, please thoroughly research your purchase. There is no "trial" period to see if you like the equipment. Please note there will be a 20% restock fee including all incurred shipping charges on all non-defective returns. When a product is returned, the 'FREE Ground Shipping' offer is waived, and the refund includes the total amount charged, less the restock and original shipping charge involved. The item(s) being returned has to be returned within 14 business days from time of receipt. All equipment returned within this 14 day period must be in perfect re-stockable condition. The item(s) to be returned needs to be unused and in its original factory sealed box with all originally enclosed accessories. Please note that all serial numbers on all equipment are documented. All serial numbers are verified on all returns. The serial numbers on the item to be returned has to match the serial numbers on the factory boxes that they were enclosed in. The items to be returned need to be the same items sold by Telephones.com on the same invoice in question. If the serial numbers on the returned equipment do not match the serial numbers on the boxes or the serial numbers on record, the item(s) will be returned. If the factory seal on the boxes were broken by the recipient, DO NOT re-tape them since the equipment need to be thoroughly inspected and tested when received. The original boxed equipment to be returned must be put within another box for shipping, just as it originally arrived. There cannot be any shipping stickers on the original factory boxes. Please put the original factory boxes within another box for shipping so that the original box is not damaged during shipping. If an item is returned in less than perfect condition, additional charges may apply, or the item may be returned.

Certain items like system manuals, software, videos, upgrade PC cards, upgrade EPROM chips, copyrighted material and rechargeable batteries cannot be returned. Since headsets go in or over the ear, for obvious health reasons, they also cannot be returned but are covered by the manufacturers warranty terms for normal defects. When purchasing headsets, please make sure you are getting the correct headset for your particular phone system. All the headset manufacturers we deal with will GUARANTEE you a defect-free product, but you must make sure it is the right one for your particular application.

After two weeks from the date of purchase all returns or warranty issues are handled directly by the equipment manufacturer according to their terms and conditions noted on the warranty. A copy of the manufacturer's warranty can also be provided to you upon request prior to any purchase, or viewed on line at the manufacturers web site. This is a copy of the same manufacturers warranty included with all new equipment.

The receipt of an e-mail order confirmation does not constitute the acceptance of an order or a confirmation of an offer to sell. Telephones.com reserves the right, without prior notification, to refuse service or cancel an order when incorrect or fraudulent information has been provided. Verification of information such as credit card billing address, alternate credit card ship to address and credit card billing name and phone number will be required prior to the acceptance of an order.
